GSP League and Tournament of Champions Rules


  • Team Names: Use the same team’s name throughout the entire tournament to qualify.

  • Team Size: This is a team competition. Team sizes can range from 2 – 8 people (including children under 18). Teams are ineligible to score if there aren’t at least two people on the team on any given game.

  • Home Venue and Play Day:

    • Choose one location as your “Home Venue” and one day of the week as your “Play Day” (this is where and when you will accumulate your points) (200 points per night)

  • Bonus Points:

    •  GAME PLAY:

  • Scoring bonus (at your home bar and home night only):

    • 2500 points total = 150 bonus points

    • 1750 points total = 100 bonus points

    • 1250 points total = 50 bonus points

  • NIGHTLY:

  • Social media questions (100 points).

  • Matching uniforms (all team members have matching outfits for the entire game) (100 points).

  • Wearing Gameshow Palooza Gear (25 points per item, max out at 100 points per team).


  • WEEKLY:

    • Play at another location (other than your home bar and home night) during the week to earn 100 bonus points 

    • Play at another location for the second time in a week earn 150 bonus points (maximum travel bonus points per week = 250)

    • Perfect Attendance for the season (for your home bar and home night only) = 500 bonus points (added to total points after last week of play)

  • Main session duration, minimum participation, Regionals and Finals:

    • The league will last 13 weeks in total.

    • Teams must play at least 7 weeks at your “Home Venue on your Home Night” to be eligible for the Regionals.

    • The top 50% of eligible teams will qualify for the regional Tournament of Champions (one night only).

    • The top 50% scoring teams in the regionals will be eligible for the Tournament of Champions Finals (1 night only)

    • There will not be any bonus point opportunities in Tournament of Champions regionals or finals.

  • Show Cancellations: Must be made within one week of the original scheduled show and can be made up at any participating league venue. This includes holidays, local sporting events, unforeseen venue cancellations. There will be no exceptions or blackouts. 


  • Team Size Rules:

    • Solo players are not allowed to participate in the league, on any given night, and/or in the Tournament of Champions. 

    • Your playoff team size will be the average team size you played with during the season.

    • Recruiting additional players for playoffs is not allowed.

  • Responsibility: Game Show Palooza is not responsible for lost scores, attendance errors, or venue closures.


  • Disqualifications: Electronic devices, references and/or outside help of any kind are strictly prohibited. Violations result in disqualification.

  • Rule Changes: Game Show Palooza reserves the right to update rules without prior notice.

  • Special Offers: Special bonus opportunities may be offered on occasion.

  • League Schedule: Tournament will begin scoring on Monday February 16th. The regular season will END on Sunday May 17th. 

  • QUALIFYER ROUNDS - Regionals scheduled for May 31st (One day event). Finals are scheduled for Sunday June 7th (One day Event). 

  • Locations for Regionals and Finals will be determined later.

  • Prizes:

    • Up to $10,000 total in cash prizes for eligible playoff teams. Distribution breakdown will be provided before the end of the first tournament week.

    • $5,000 will be split equally between the teams with perfect attendance at their home bar.
